Introducing the new Army Squad Designated Marksman Rifle (SDMR) The H&K M110A1 by VFC. With an entire OCAW level overhaul of the internals. This is the DMR you'd want. Being a 308 platform, this meets all the requirements by any Milsim event.

The Overhaul Process:

Stock, this gun is like any other VFC made AEG, besides the beautiful externals and sweet branding from H&K. This gun did have a Gate ASTER preinstalled which was pretty nifty for VFC to start incorporating aftermarket MOSFETs, with a neodymium motor.

As with the little brother, the 416A5, the externals share the same design philosophy. Probably the smoothest and most tactile ambi selector switch possible. Where most other guns often get 'tight' when using the right side selector. This is absolutely butterlike. The inclusion of 45 degree iron sights is quite the nice touch as well.

VFC did seem to use a weird receiver design, we believe this is sharing the same molds used in their GBBR design. It simply has 'adapters' inside to hold an AEG gearbox! As a result, the buffer tube is considerably thicker! It will not accept any other stock. But there's ample space to install up to a 11.1v 6000mah Lipo inside so... Not really a concern.

Internally, to fit the 308 role like out other larger caliber replicas we offer. We obviously knew it'd be set up for a DMR role, so 500-550FPS was the goal, and all the internal parts to easily handle that kind of stress.

The barrel was a little bit of a challenge, the outer barrel uses an adapter so that the VFC Rotary hopup would sit nicely in. VFC designed it so it only fits their hopup perfectly. As it also needs to house the channel for the fake bolt cover (which actuates extremely smoothly, better than most AEGs out there). So we inhouse designed and created our custom adapter so we can use Maxxpro hopup units! (As well as compatible with many others as well) You can buy that piece here...

Paired with our world class hand lapped barrels featuring our installed R-hop patch and you have a nail driver capable of reaching torso sized targets at 300ft with 0.48g BBs. This test was done with 550 FPS.

Oh and we solved the magazine feeding issue. Its got a hyper weak spring which struggles with heavy weight BBs. Thus we installed a Maple Airsoft Supply Midcap spring in it (chopped shorter to fit), and will eject .48g BBs pretty far to be used as a in game emergency weapon! If you need more, click here...

Recommended BB Weights per Power Variant: 

450 FPS: 0.36-0.40g BBs.

500 FPS: 0.40-0.48g BBs.

550 FPS: 0.48g BBs Minimum.
