Surplus VFC V2 Complete Avalon Gearbox (Rear & Front Wired)

My third one just arrived. Unlike the previous 2, this one was wired to Deans T plug. The gearbox shell is solid and well made. The gears are equally nice with 16:1 ratio. The gearbox is easy to work on. Works terrific as is, so if your buying because you are not comfortable opening a gearbox
, buy with confidence.The piston is not full steel rack; however, it seems quite durable and I have not had any issues using them in the previous 2 that I have purchased. No issues fitting this gearbox into non-VFC receivers. Performance is tremendous in everything I've used them in from short 190mm inner barrel builds to 509mm, I did install a full unported cylinder in the longer build. Highly satisfied and will likely keep purchasing these as they become available. Still not going to pay $140 on other sites, but these are a steal at Umbrella Armory surplus prices. Side note: these guys have tremendous customer service and go above and beyond for their customers. Super refreshing to find companies that actually care if customers are happy!

Works as intended. Would never pay full price, but it's worth the surplus price. Small Tamiya connector on a gearbox marketed as "high end"? Happy with the performance. Dropped into a spare receiver and have another serviceable m4.

Bought a stock vdv Avalon gearbox for my m416, fits as it should and works like a charm! I can’t wait to throw in some better gears and make this into a dsg!

Everything I needed, comes with Dean connectors JFYI.

These are solid extras to keep on hand or build up a cheap loaner
