This design took quite sometime, due to FDM limitation as well as the design goal we had in mind for the RMR. Many hex 'caps' would bridge the rear area. Which narrows the horizontal view of the window which is already extremely small. Our goal was to avoid this at all cost to maximize the viewable area of the window.
FINE grid mesh allows for exceptional visibility as well as full window viewability. Total light deflection at 45 degrees.

Note: not compatible with Dual Fiber & LED RMR model. Since the cap would cover the Fiber Optic on top.
Due to open rear/non-bridge design the design doesn't prevent over expanding the side tabs. We designed this unit to be pressed in from the top of the RMR, and removal by lifting the front edge only. However prying the side tabs by more than 20 degrees will result in a breakage, thus we don't recommend bending the tabs with your fingers.
